Rich White Men

Not that most of us don't already know this, its just that it is increasingly coming into focus for me - Our country was founded by a bunch of rich white bankers. Hamilton and the rest of the lot didn't care about the poor farmers, they just wanted power. Not true you say of the Federalists? Then how is it that as soon as we gain our independece from Britain we have people setting up a new constitution. It is ironic and painful that those at the constitutional convention setup an alledgedly democratic system through the least democratic means possible - secretly in a room without telling anyone else. The same line of thought can be traced up to today. Now we will bomb for peace. The Republicans should have revolted when the constitution first came out.
